Job summary

Colac Otway Shire Council seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of capital works across civil infrastructure, open spaces and community assets in Colac, Victoria. You will partner with sponsors, contractors and consultants to deliver projects on time, within budget and per Council standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering capital works projects.
• Contract administration and contractor management experience.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office.
• Current Victorian Driver Licence.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• Experience working in Local Government.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of capital works projects across civil infrastructure, open spaces, buildings and other assets.
• Perform contract administration and manage contractors and consultants.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, risks and governance requirements.
• Prepare project reports and updates for stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
• Ensure procurement, safety and regulatory compliance.
