Job summary

ACT Education Projects and Property Upgrades within the Delivery – Health, Education and Justice branch seeks an Infrastructure Project Manager to lead major school construction and refurbishment initiatives in the Canberra region. You will oversee capital works, procurements, contract planning and provide technical guidance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant professional qualification in Engineering, Architecture or Project Management or accreditation with a professional body recognised within Australia.
• Hold a relevant building degree or have substantial building or infrastructure knowledge and/or project management experience.
• Current Australian Class C driver’s license and site-related safety training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage education infrastructure projects in the ACT, including new builds, refurbishments and accessibility upgrades.
• Oversee capital works, procurements, contracts planning and management for upgrades and related works.
• Provide technical advice, centralised reporting and inter-team coordination throughout project delivery.
