Job summary

NEC Australia is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the delivery of major IT infrastructure initiatives from our Perth office. You will coordinate diverse teams, manage complex workstreams, and drive outcomes that deliver lasting value for our customers.

You will lead end-to-end project delivery, manage budgets, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. The role requires excellent communication and a track record of delivering large-scale programs in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Deliver end-to-end medium to large infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Takes full ownership of end-to-end management, coordination, definition, documentation, and successful delivery of projects.
• Prepares and maintains realistic project and quality plans with regular updates to stakeholders.
• Engages with stakeholders to ensure objectives and requirements are understood and met for each project phase.
• Maintains open communication with project staff to identify issues, propose solutions, and deliver reports.
• Leads the project team, addressing performance deviations to align with standards.
• Encourages open communication among stakeholders and prepares for changes in services or systems.
• Identifies risks, quantifies likelihood and impact, and documents mitigation strategies.
• Coordinates contingency plans and countermeasures for risks.
• Manages project budgets, preparing financial status reports for managers and executives.
