Job summary

NEC Australia is seeking a Program Manager to oversee major IT infrastructure initiatives. Based in Australia, you will coordinate diverse teams, manage complex workstreams, and drive outcomes that deliver lasting value for customers and NEC.

The role emphasizes delivering projects on time, within scope, and with clear reporting to executives. You will apply Prince2/Agile/PMBOK methodologies, manage risks and budgets, and collaborate with partners and service providers to achieve client

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering end-to-end medium to large IT infrastructure projects.
Ability to build productive customer and partner relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Takes full ownership of end-to-end management and delivery of projects.
Prepares and maintains realistic project and quality plans with regular updates to stakeholders.
Engages with stakeholders to meet objectives and requirements for each phase.
Maintains open communication with project staff to identify issues and deliver actionable reports.
Leads the project team to ensure alignment with standards and manages risks.
Coordinates contingency plans and mitigates risks with documented strategies.
Manages project budgets and prepares financial status reports for governance.
