• Conduct visual inspections of ARTC’s rail track and ensure safety compliance.
• Contribute to minor construction for planned capital upgrades.
• Work based in Kensington, Victoria and adhere to ARTC standards.

About The Team

When you join our Operations team, you’ll join the team who help keep trains moving safely and reliably across our 9,600km of track. Working across our East-West and North South corridors, the team is key to ensuring our rail network connects people and products with cities, ports and global markets.

About the Opportunity

Infrastructure Maintainers carry out the physical work of maintaining ARTC’s rail track, including preventative and reactive maintenance activities, as well as undertaking minor construction for planned capital upgrades. Infrastructure Maintainers undertake general labouring, track maintenance duties, safety protection work, visual inspections of ARTC’s rail track, operating heavy machinery, welding and other maintenance tasks while meeting ARTC standards. Role is based in Kensington, Victoria.
