Job summary

GRiD Electrical seeks an experienced Finance / Contracts Manager to oversee financial management and contract administration across our NSW project portfolio. You will partner with project teams to protect commercial performance and ensure tight compliance on major infrastructure works.

The role requires strong month-end, forecasting and reporting capabilities, with a focus on WIP, revenue recognition, and project profitability across the Marsden Park project.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Experience in a Finance Manager, Senior Accountant or similar role.
• Strong month-end and management reporting experience.
• Budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Solid balance sheet reconciliations and controls.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Construction/infra project experience desirable.
• Understanding of construction contracts (AS4000/AS4300) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close for the Marsden Park project and ensure timely reporting.
• Coordinate collection and review of financial information from project stakeholders.
• Prepare financial reports for Project Director, MD and Head of Finance.
• Review P&L, balance sheet and project financial information with commentary.
• Investigate variances and explain project performance against budget/forecast.
• Own financial reporting and project accounting, including WIP and revenue recognition.
• Monitor margins, cost movements and financial risks; forecast collaboratively.
