Job summary

LGT Wealth Management Australia is seeking a Solution Engineer to join our Engineering team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will translate business needs into scalable, secure technology designs and partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver integrated solutions aligned with our standards.

You will lead end-to-end solution architecture, develop detailed designs and runbooks, and embed security by design while collaborating with engineers to ensure delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in solution design, architecture, or technical consulting roles.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups and elicit requirements.
• Certifications in cloud, architecture, or design frameworks are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support during build, integration and deployment.
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture across the full project lifecycle.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and strategic objectives.
• Develop high-level and detailed designs, including data flows and security considerations.
• Evaluate technologies balancing cost, scalability, performance, and security.
• Embed security by design principles into architecture and design activities.
• Collaborate with engineers to validate and refine solution designs.
• Support testing to ensure solution integrity and performance.
• Produce documentation, runbooks, and knowledge materials for operations.
• Contribute to technology strategy and continuous improvement of delivery practices.
