Job summary

LGT Wealth Management is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Sydney for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will provide operational support across Windows and Linux servers, Azure and Microsoft 365, identity management, networking, backups and monitoring, ensuring production readiness and robust service delivery.

You will collaborate with local and group technology teams, driving automation, scripting, documentation and knowledge sharing to improve reliability in a hybrid financial services

Qualifications

• 4+ years in enterprise infrastructure operations, ideally in finance or regulated setting.
• Strong Windows Server admin, AD, DNS/DHCP, file services and access controls.
• Hands-on Azure, M365 and Entra ID incl. SaaS integrations (SAML/OIDC/SCIM).
• Good networking diagnostics across LAN/VLAN/Wi-Fi and firewall workflows.
• Experience with backup, DR, monitoring, incident response and root-cause analysis.
• PowerShell, Python or other scripting for automation.
• Excellent documentation and communication; able to own small changes end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support core infrastructure across Windows/Linux, Azure, M365, Entra ID, file services, networking, backups, monitoring.
• Administer access and identity services, incl. SaaS integrations for SSO, provisioning and federation.
• Resolve incidents; provide second/third-level support for business-critical services.
• Support deployments, environment readiness, scheduled jobs and integration services.
• Deliver regular patching, vulnerability remediation, certificate management and DR testing.
• Improve reliability via scripting, automation and proactive monitoring.
• Collaborate with local, group and senior teams on incidents, changes and projects.
