In this role you’ll rack, deploy and maintain hardware across NVIDIA GPU clusters, drive automation, and collaborate with AI Ops to scale operations toward 24/7 support. Melbourne-based hybrid work is offered.
Are you a hands‑on hardware specialist who loves being close to the metal? I’m partnering with an Australian sovereign AI cloud provider that’s building some of the country’s most advanced GPU infrastructure, and they’re looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their foundational team in Melbourne.
This is a rare chance to get in early with a fast-growing business backed by major industry partners, working on real GPU clusters, real AI factories and real customers. If you’ve come from a hyperscaler, large-scale data centre operator or enterprise compute environment and want to take the next step, this one’s worth a conversation.
You’ll be at the physical layer of the build: racking, cabling, deploying and maintaining the GPU compute nodes, servers and storage that power national AI workloads. Day to day, you’ll:
