Job summary

BDO is seeking expressions of interest for roles in Project & Infrastructure Advisory (P&IA) across Consultant, Senior Consultant, Assistant Manager and Manager levels.

The team provides advisory services for government and private-sector infrastructure projects across Australia and Asia-Pacific, with opportunities to work on business cases, program management, procurement, and financial/transaction workstreams.

Qualifications

• Technical experience in financial or economic modelling, procurement, engineering or project management.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication in reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and written correspondence.
• Understanding of government and commercial frameworks for business case development and infrastructure procurement.
• Experience leading or contributing to client relationships and business development.
• Experience or willingness to learn financial and economic analysis, including project financial modelling, cost-benefit analysis, socio-economic assessment.
• Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, engineering, legal, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to multi-disciplinary project teams to solve infrastructure problems.
• Lead or support stakeholder engagement activities, executive reports, and business cases.
• Develop financial and commercial analyses aligned with project objectives.
• Lead or support commercial negotiations between parties.
• Develop project financial models and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Support business development and client engagement activities.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project partners.
