Qualifications

Role: Infra security Architect

Location: Melbourne

Type: Contract

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain security architecture frameworks across IT (predominantly) and OT systems aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements and risk tolerance
• Integrate security-by-design principle into enterprise and SCADA/ICS infra
• Define and document current and target security architecture
• Ensure compliance with relevant Australian cybersecurity laws/standards/frameworks such as SOCI, E8, Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework(AESCSF)
• Identify and evaluate security risk in existing and new systems
• Evaluate and recommend security tools/solutions, platforms and architectures for projects and enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Recommend and implement security controls aligned with NIST, ASD guidelines
• Collaborate with IT, OT, engineering and business teams to ensure security is embedded across all environment.
• Act as a trusted advisor for architecture-related security decisions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a security architecture role
• Expertise in architecture frameworks (eg: SABSA, TOGAF, NIST CSF)
• Proven experience in designing and securing cloud (Azure), hybrid, and on-premise systems
• Familiarity with IAM, Data security, network security, end point security etc.
• Certification such as SABSA, CISSP, CISM, Azure security (preferred)
• Experience working within or for critical infrastructure sectors such as energy, utilities, telecommunications (Preferred)
• Strong communication skill, stakeholders engagement skill, negotiation skills including the ability to translate complex technical risk to business leaders.
