Job summary

Paxus Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, delivery and ongoing management of ICT infrastructure within a large enterprise environment. The role spans infrastructure delivery, data centre planning and technical project work, ensuring critical services remain reliable and secure.

Qualifications

• Hands-on enterprise ICT infrastructure experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical change experience.
• Understanding of infrastructure availability, reliability and service improvement.
• Experience with systems design, installation and technical documentation.
• Basic scripting or automation; ability to coordinate activities and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience working within ICT governance and change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement infrastructure installations, upgrades, changes and decommissioning activities.
• Support rack allocation, power utilisation, cabling and infrastructure planning.
• Develop and review infrastructure designs, architecture documentation, standards and operating procedures.
• Investigate complex infrastructure issues, support major incident recovery and perform root cause analysis.
• Work with Project Managers and technical teams to plan activities, manage risks and deliver outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability, security, performance and operational efficiency.
