Job summary

Bega Valley Shire Council is seeking a Coordinator | Information Management to lead Council's information governance, privacy and data governance functions.

You will oversee the delivery of records management and information systems services through the Information Officer and Information Systems Officer positions, and drive data quality, reporting and BI initiatives to support informed decision-making across Council.

Qualifications

• Diploma-level qualification in Records Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in information management.
• Experience leading enterprise information management functions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Ability to influence compliance and deliver training.

Responsibilities

• Lead information management and records governance frameworks.
• Oversee data governance, BI initiatives, and reporting.
• Improve data quality and reporting across Council.
