We have an opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to support the effective delivery of Council's governance function, with a key focus on administering and coordinating requests for information under the Government Information (Public Access) Act (GIPA Act) and Privacy legislation. The role provides governance advice, supports statutory compliance, and contributes to the administration of policies, registers and reporting requirements.
As a Governance Officer, you will assist with GIPA and PPIPA applications, processes and procedures across the organisation, including drafting notices of decision and providing advice and support to staff regarding information access requests. You will also maintain governance registers and legislative compliance requirements, support the administration of Council policies and procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement of governance systems and processes.
We are seeking an individual who holds a Certificate IV in Business Administration or a related field.
This is a permanent, part-time position working 21 hours per week. The total remuneration package for this position commences at $95,251.52 gross per annum (paid pro-rata) comprising of:
