Job summary

Metro North Health’s Information Access team at Redcliffe Hospital supports lawful and timely release of health information to government agencies, legal representatives, insurers and the public.

The role involves processing information requests, interpreting legislation and policies on confidentiality, and liaising with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure accurate, secure releases within required timeframes.

Qualifications

• Ability to process information access requests in line with legislation and confidentiality.
• Interpret and communicate information from patient records to authorised external parties.
• Provide high-level administrative support to prioritise and complete requests on time.

Responsibilities

• Process requests for information disclosure in line with legislation and confidentiality requirements.
