Job summary

Metro North Health's Information Access team at Redcliffe Hospital is seeking a professional to support the lawful and timely release of health information to government agencies, legal representatives, insurers and the public.

You will process requests, interpret legislation and policies, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a role that blends analysis, customer service and meticulous work.

Responsibilities

• Process requests for the release of information in accordance with relevant legislation and confidentiality requirements.
• Interpret and communicate information from patient records to authorised external parties.
• Provide high-level administrative support to ensure information access requests are prioritised and completed on time.
• Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder engagement with healthcare professionals, government agencies, legal representatives and the public.
• Contribute to quality improvement and development of information access processes.
