The Transactions Analyst will support acquisition and divestment activities for the Industrial business, undertaking financial modelling, market research and end-to-end transaction execution across multiple opportunities in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• You will bring a tertiary qualification in property, valuation, commerce, finance, economics, business or a related discipline.
• You have demonstrated property financial modelling capability to independently build, update and interrogate investment or valuation models.
• Forbury experience will be highly regarded.
• You understand key investment metrics such as IRR, yield-on-cost and equivalent yield.
• You possess strong Excel and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• You can apply commercial judgement to decide if an opportunity warrants further investigation.
• You show initiative, ownership and the ability to move work forward.
• You manage multiple opportunities with strong time management and prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Undertake financial modelling and preliminary analysis to assess acquisition and divestment opportunities.
• Support end-to-end transaction execution including due diligence, document management and milestones tracking.
• Prepare financial analyses, feasibility assessments and investment committee papers.
• Compile market intelligence on industrial property conditions and comparable transactions.
• Screen new opportunities for alignment with investment mandates.
• Coordinate with asset management, development, leasing, finance and legal teams and external partners.
• Manage multiple opportunities and proactively obtain required information to keep deals progressing.
• Contribute to team culture with a proactive, respectful and solutions-focused approach.
