Job summary

St Mary’s Catholic College in Woree is seeking an Industrial Technology & Design Assistant to support the technology department. Term-time, fixed-term (31 hours per week) with gross hourly salary from $34.17 to $35.62, plus 12.75% super.

The role assists teachers, prepares workshop materials, maintains equipment, supports students, and helps with displays. Applicants must hold a Working with Children Blue Card and a current driver’s licence and align with the Catholic Education ethos.

Qualifications

• Provides classroom support in industrial technology and design.
• Assists students with equipment and materials.
• Monitors safety and maintenance of tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up workshop materials and resources.
• Assist in classroom activities and displays.
• Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance needs.
• Support student engagement and safety in the lab.
