EMACS Electrical & Mechanical Repairs in Yatala, QLD is seeking a Painting and Sandblasting Trades Assistant to join the workshop team. Start immediately in our modern, purpose-built facility, supporting the maintenance and overhaul of mechanical machines.

Night shift options with pay uplift are available. You will assist tradespeople, use overhead gantry cranes, and help ensure QA compliance while holding a current driver’s and forklift licence.

Qualifications

• Painting and sandblasting experience.
• Assist tradespeople in the workshop as needed.
• Operate and manage overhead gantry cranes.
• Adhere to QA systems and processes.
• Hold a current driver’s licence and forklift licence.
• Demonstrate a good work ethic.

EMACS Electrical & Mechanical Repairs is a complete service provider for all rotating machinery overhauls, service, installation, shutdowns and field service located at Yatala, servicing the mining, electrical and mechanical repair industry, specialising in electric motors, pumps and gearbox repairs.

About the Role

We have a positionavailable for a Painting and SandblastingTrades Assistant basedin Yatala to start immediately. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a modern purpose-built workshop that specialises in the maintenance and overhaul of a variety of mechanical machines.
