Job summary

Force Equipment Pty, trading as Force by Emeco, is seeking a Paint & Blast Trade Assistant in Mackay, QLD. This full-time, permanent role supports our abrasive blasting, protective coating and heavy equipment painting operations while upholding strict safety, health and environment standards.

You will carry out paint and blast repairs, prepare equipment for repairs, apply two-pack systems, and ensure quality and safety as part of a dynamic workshop team. A focus on detail and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Industrial painting and blasting experience preferred.
• Commitment to safety procedures and best practices.
• Current Working at Heights certificate and High Risk Forklift licence highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Carry out paint and blast repairs and upgrade improvements to the Rental equipment fleet.
• Prepare earth moving equipment for repairs.
• Apply two pack systems to structural steel and machinery.
• Blast, prime and paint within job specifications.
• General housekeeping and yard cleanup as required.
• Ensure that all works completed are in line with our safety plan.
• Monitor quality of all work performed.
