Job summary

Sun Engineering Australia is seeking a skilled Industrial Spray Painter to join our Carole Park facility. This role offers a clear path into supervision and leadership, with responsibilities spanning spray painting, sandblasting, and coating application on large-scale projects.

You will prepare surfaces, check blast profiles, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project timelines, while contributing to continuous improvement and QA documentation across our site operations.

Qualifications

• Industrial spray painting and sandblasting experience.
• Proficient in sand blasting blast profile checking.
• Familiarity with QA processes – including visual inspections and documentation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

You will be responsible for:

• Performing industrial spray painting and sandblasting tasks
• Preparing surfaces and applying coatings in line with specifications
• Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and schedule requirements

Qualifications:

• Industrial spray painting and sandblasting experience
• Proficient in sand blasting blast profile checking
• Familiarity with QA processes – including visual inspections and documentation

Highly Regarded (but not essential):

• Coating Inspection Ticket
• NACE Certification
