Job summary

Johnson Controls Australia, via Gordon Brothers Industries, is seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Technician to join our Perth Service Team on a full-time basis. You will service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair large-scale industrial refrigeration systems across WA, working safely, autonomously, and building strong customer relationships with a focus on quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Essential: Refrigeration Mechanic qualification or equivalent experience.
• Essential: Current ARC Licence.
• Essential: Current Restricted Electrical Licence.
• Essential: Current unrestricted Driver's Licence.
• Essential: Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capability.
• Highly Regarded: ammonia refrigeration experience.
• Highly Regarded: experience in food manufacturing, cold storage, mining, or process cooling.
• Highly Regarded: strong communication and customer service skills.
• Highly Regarded: autonomous and prioritisation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and breakdown maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs to minimise customer downtime.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development programs.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
