Job summary

Gordon Brothers Industries (GBI), proudly part of Johnson Controls, is seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Technician to join the Perth Service Team. Reporting to the Service Manager, you’ll deliver maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a diverse portfolio in the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA, with strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Essential Trade qualification as a Refrigeration Mechanic or equivalent experience.
• Current ARC Licence.
• Current Restricted Electrical Licence.
• Current unrestricted Driver's Licence.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capability.
• Previous industrial refrigeration experience.
• Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Exposure to food manufacturing, cold storage, mining, or process cooling industries.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• Flexible and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and breakdown maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems.

The Role
