Johnson Controls Australia is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to deliver high-quality service and maintenance across industrial refrigeration systems in Sydney. You will be reliable, self-driven, and solution-focused, ensuring smooth job execution with a proactive approach.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will build strong customer relationships and contribute to ongoing training and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified or experienced refrigeration mechanic.
• Current valid driver’s license.
• Current ARC licence.
• Current Restricted Electrical licence.

About the role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality service and maintenance across a wide range of industrial refrigeration systems. We're looking for someone reliable, self-driven, and solutions-focused-someone who can keep jobs running smoothly with a proactive and flexible approach.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out planned and unplanned service and maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers
• Participate in company training programs and service meetings

What You'll Bring

• Qualified or experienced Refrigeration Mechanic
• Current valid driver's licence
• Current ARC licence
• Current Restricted Electrical licence

Ideally you'll also have

• Previous industrial refrigeration experience
• Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Ammonia system experience (advantageous but not essential)
• A positive and proactive approach to safety
