Job summary

Unilever North Rocks factory in Sydney seeks a Process Engineer to join the team, focusing on eliminating losses and waste on the production line while applying TPM/lean methodologies and driving continuous improvement.

You will reduce downtime, improve changeovers, and support GMP, safety and quality initiatives in a dynamic, global organisation with opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG manufacturing
• Knowledge of UMS/WCM or TPM methodologies
• Ability to train and coach line crews

Responsibilities

• Eliminate waste and losses using UMS/TPM tools; lead loss prioritization.
• Direct AM and FI pillars in the department.
• Run to Standard (R2S): data collection, prioritization of losses, problem solving, SMED.
• Train line crews on technical standards and restoration of basic conditions.
• Upskill line crews in AM and FI tools; ensure capability.
• Adhere to GMP hygiene standards; support safety, hygiene, GMP and quality initiatives.
• Drive 5S standards.
