Job summary

Turner Talent is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for a well-established manufacturing business in Hendra, Brisbane. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance, fault finding, and uptime improvement in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate during labour hire ($50–$55/hr) and a transitional rate ($50–$52/hr) after moving to permanent full-time. Day shift 6am–2pm with overtime and a genuine temp-to-perm pathway within six months.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance across industrial plant and equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Carry out inspections, servicing and repairs to ensure equipment reliability.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance practices and operational efficiency.
• Work with site personnel to maintain a safe and productive workplace.
