Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter required.
• Experience maintaining industrial machinery and fixed plant.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with bearings, chain drives, pulleys and mechanical drive systems.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and planned maintenance on industrial plant and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform breakdown repairs.
• Maintain and replace bearings, chain drives, pulleys and related components.
• Identify issues and implement practical solutions.
• Support equipment installations, reliability improvements.
• Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to keep operations running.
