Job summary

Workhorse Staffing in Sydney seeks an experienced Industrial Electrician for a clean FMCG facility in South-West Sydney. Join a close-knit maintenance team with a strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

You will perform electrical installations and preventative/breakdown maintenance, diagnose faults on fixed plant, work with PLC systems, and support production teams while adhering to GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrician with 3+ years in FMCG environments.
• Experience in FMCG/food/beverage/pharma or high-speed production.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on, proactive maintenance and problem solving.
• Solid GMP knowledge and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installations and preventive/breakdown maintenance on machinery.
• Diagnose and fault-find electrical issues on fixed plant.
• Use of PLC systems with diagnostics and fault finding.
• Maintenance on machinery, site services, security and safety systems.
• Work closely with Mechanical Fitters and production teams.
• Follow strict safety and GMP regulations on site.

We're on the hunt for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a clean, semi-automated FMCG facility in the heart of South-West Sydney! Great, hands‑on opportunity for an experienced Industrial Electrician keen to join a close‑knit maintenance team with a strong focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement.

ABOUT YOU:

• Qualified/ Licenced Electrician with 3+ years experience within an FMCG environment
• Previous experience within a FMCG, food, beverage, pharmaceutical or high-speed production environment
• Strong electrical fault finding and troubleshooting capability
• Hands‑on, proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving
• Strong understanding of GMP standards and procedures
• Strong focus on safety, quality and communication
