Job summary

FixedPP Pty Ltd in Ingleburn, NSW, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a fast-paced, highly automated manufacturing site. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance across plant equipment, diagnose faults and drive continuous improvements to maximise uptime.

You’ll work afternoons Mon–Fri 1:30PM–10:30PM with overtime; a trade-qualified A‑Grade Electrician is required, with PLC, SCADA and VSD experience.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as an A-Grade Electrician with manufacturing experience.
• Experience with PLCs, PLC fault finding and SCADA systems.
• Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and drive systems (VSDs).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day efficient running of plant and equipment
• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance
• Diagnostics, electrical fault finding and troubleshooting
• PLC fault finding and troubleshooting
• Work with SCADA systems, VSDs/drives and automated control systems
• Support process improvements and equipment reliability
• Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime
• Operate, maintain and service production machinery
• Provide technical support to the production team

My client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their team at their large-scale manufacturing facility in Ingleburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment, alongside an experienced maintenance team and supporting highly automated plant and equipment.

• Full time, permanent position
• Afternoon Shift – Mon–Fri 1:30PM - 10:30PM + OT
• $50–58PH + loading + Super + OT – Experience dependent

The role

You’ll be working across a busy manufacturing site, undertaking a mix of preventative maintenance, breakdown response, fault finding and continuous improvement, helping ensure the smooth and efficient operation of production.

Responsibilities

• Experience with VSDs/drives and automated production equipment
• Food manufacturing experience highly regarded
• Hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Forklift licence advantageous
