Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Industrial EI&C team in Adelaide. You will contribute to the design of electrical, instrumentation and control systems for heavy industrial and process plant projects, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable, carbon‑neutral solutions.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering (Engineers Australia recognised) and a minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in detailed design,

Qualifications

• 5+ years post graduate experience in detailed design for industrial projects
• Knowledge of in-plant electrical distribution (MV/LV) and motor control systems
• Familiarity with AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008.1.1 and AS/NZS 2067

Responsibilities

• In-depth knowledge of heavy industrial and process plant projects.
• Client interfacing to translate needs into electrical designs.
• Detailed design of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Experience with power systems software and modelling
