Job summary

Macmahon is seeking an experienced Blaster & Painter to join the Workshop team at Perth Airport, WA. You'll carry out abrasive blasting, industrial spray painting and corrosion protection on mining and earthmoving equipment, structures and components.

Work with a skilled team in a safe, productive workplace; roster includes 4D7N3X5D2X5D2X with seven night shifts every four weeks; rate is based on experience, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in painting and coatings is required or highly preferred.
• Experience in industrial spray painting and abrasive blasting.
• Experience working on mining, earthmoving or heavy mobile equipment.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence; ForkliftLicence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Abrasive blast mining and earthmoving equipment and spray paint surfaces.
• Complete surface preparation and corrosion protection works.
• Maintain paint shop equipment and work areas to a safe standard.
• Deliver quality work safely and efficiently.
• Complete required job documentation and reports.
• Support a strong safety culture where everyone goes home safe.
