Job summary

WorkPac Group in Queensland seeks a skilled Painter Blaster to undertake abrasive blasting and industrial painting on a range of mining, port and heavy industrial sites. You will prepare surfaces, apply protective coatings, and ensure work is performed safely and to industry standards.

This role requires at least 3 years' experience, relevant White Card and Heights certification, and ability to operate in confined spaces or at heights when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Painter Blaster in an industrial environment.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
• Working at Heights certification.
• Trade-specific qualifications highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Performing abrasive blasting and industrial painting activities
• Preparing surfaces using appropriate blasting and coating techniques
• Applying protective coatings to industry specifications
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Conducting equipment inspections and maintenance checks
• Working within confined spaces and at heights where required
• Adhering to site safety procedures and client requirements
