Duratec is hiring for a Blast & Paint role at the Boddington Gold Mine in Western Australia. You will perform industrial spray painting, abrasive blasting, and surface preparation on mining infrastructure as part of a stable, long-term site team with camp accommodation provided.

Qualifications

• Abrasive blasting of structural steel and mining infrastructure.
• Surface preparation to coating specifications.
• Ongoing corrosion control and asset integrity works.
• Structural remediation and maintenance activities.
• Work safely and effectively within a multi-disciplinary site team.
• Assist other site teams as required.

• Paid travel time with 2:1 or 8:6 DIDO roster options
• Long-term work at Boddington Gold Mine with camp accommodation provided, just 2 hours from Perth
• Immediate starts available with full-time and casual opportunities

Deliver blast and paint, corrosion control and structural remediation works across critical mining infrastructure.

You'll be part of a stable, long-term site team supporting one of WA's leading gold mining operations.

THE ROLE

• Surface preparation to coating specifications
• Ongoing corrosion control and asset integrity works
• Structural remediation and maintenance activities
• Work safely and effectively within a multi-disciplinary site team
• Assist other site teams as required

ABOUT YOU

• Drivers licence
• Current working at heights and confined space tickets
• Construction white card
• Experience in abrasive blasting, industrial painting, or protective coatings
• Experience working to industrial coating specifications
• Previous experience in mining, shutdown, maintenance, or construction environments
• Strong safety focus and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable team player with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic
