Job summary

Control Automation Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Industrial Electrician for a Brisbane-based role in Salisbury/Coopers Plains. The team designs, builds and programs turnkey automation solutions across multiple industries, with travel to project sites as required.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years’ industrial electrical experience, holds a Queensland Electrical license, and can read drawings and fault-find complex circuits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of industrial electrical experience required.
• Current Queensland Electrical license.
• Driver's license (essential).
• Ability to read electrical drawings and fault find complex electrical circuitry.
• Proven experience with automation projects.
• HVAC industry experience and/or experience with PLCs and board building preferred.
• Q Fever vaccinated (or willing to obtain vaccination).

Control Automation Solutions – Coopers Plains QLD

Control Automation Solutions is an Industrial Automation Company looking for a highly experienced, driven and enthusiastic Industrial Electrician to join their team. As a turnkey operation with a diverse team of Electrical Engineers, Switchboard Builders, and Software Engineers, we design, build and program custom automation solutions for several different industries, from materials packaging to industrial refrigeration, and specialise in turnkey projects.

This is a full-time, Brisbane-based position (Salisbury/Coopers Plains) with an immediate start available. The role includes travel and occasional work away from home for short to medium periods, depending on project requirements.

About you

• Minimum 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience required
• Current Queensland Electrical license
• Driver's license (essential)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, with motivation and willingness to continually learn and develop in the industry
• Proven industrial installation and fault finding experience
• Able to read electrical drawings and fault find complex electrical circuitry
• Demonstrated previous experience with automation projects
• Ability to work overtime and willingness to be part of the breakdown roster and attend weekend work/shift work, if projects require it
• Previous experience in the HVAC industry and/or with PLCs and board building is preferred
• Q Fever vaccinated (or willing to obtain vaccination)
