Job summary

Infinite Resource Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and drive project margins, schedules, and resources. You will forecast resources, monitor risks, and present plans to divisional leadership while coordinating with customers.

The role requires strong financial oversight, change management, and adherence to quality standards. HVAC/building automation experience is a plus, with onsite commissioning welcomed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project leadership experience
• Experience organizing, scheduling projects and leading meetings with internal teams and customers
• Experience managing project finances and invoicing
• Knowledge of HVAC systems in large building automation systems
• Familiarity with engineering standards and QMS processes

Responsibilities

• Accountable for project margin and steps to improve financial health
• Establish project schedules and monitor for completion
• Forecast resources for projects
• Review and mitigate project risks
• Present Schedule, Scope, and Resource Plan to leadership
• Manage project financials including cost projections and cash flow reporting
• Draft and quantify change orders
• Enforce quality plans and monitor quality throughout lifecycle
• Serve as primary commercial contact for customers
• Manage large or multiple concurrent projects
• Identify causes of deviations and recommend corrective actions
• Negotiate Terms & Conditions with customers
• Provide technical guidance to project team
• Enforce engineering standards
• Contribute to development of project management tools
• Participate in and support QMS
• Demonstrate strong communication, planning, organization, leadership, and motivation
• Balance project finances, customer satisfaction, and team development
• 3–5 years of leadership experience; organize and lead meetings
• Onsite commissioning experience is a plus
• Building automation/industrial controls exposure (Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Inductive Automation) is a plus

Job description

• Accurately forecasting resources of their projects.
• Review and monitor potential sources of risk and strategies for mitigation.
• Presents Project Schedule, Scope, and Resource Plan to divisional Director/Group Manager.
• Responsible for project financials including but not limited to:
• Cost projections/cash flow reporting
• Monthly job Invoicing
• Quantify and draft change orders
• Enforces quality plans for projects and monitors projects for quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serves as the primary commercial contact for customers.
• Manages large projects and/or multiple concurrent projects.
• Determine causes of deviations from the project plan or schedule and the recommended corrective actions.
• Capable of negotiating Terms & Conditions with customers.
• Provide technical guidance to project team when required.
• Enforce use of engineering standards.
• Contributes to development of tools that facilitate project management.
• Participates and contributes to QMS.
• Demonstrates excellent communications, planning, organization, leadership, and motivation skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to balance project finances, customer satisfaction, and team development.
• At least 3-5 years of project leadership experience – project management or technical lead
• Experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers
• Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Microsoft Project
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems.
• Basic understanding of sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC and plant utilities.
• Basic understanding of instrumentation and control valves for HVAC systems.
• Building automation and/or industrial controls experience (Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Inductive Automation) is a plus
• Onsite commissioning experience is a plus.
