Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate and drive BMS/HVAC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and client expectations. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop scopes, manage schedules, allocate resources, monitor risks, and maintain documentation, while coordinating with vendors and clients to deliver successful project outcomes.

The ideal candidate has proven PM experience in BMS/HVAC, strong leadership and communication skills,

• Proven Experience within a similar role as a Project Manager within the BMS or HVAC Industry.
• Develop and deliver margin improvement strategies.
• Ability to develop and implement budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead BMS/HVAC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes, and define deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and successful delivery.
• Prepare project schedules, resource allocation plans, and cost estimates.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, communicate updates to stakeholders, and ensure effective communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, technical specifications, and change orders.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of required equipment and materials.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to project requirements and client expectations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, troubleshooting any technical issues that arise during the project.

The Role

The Project Manager is responsible for the co-ordination and follow through to completion of all aspects of projects and to this end will perform a variety of tasks including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of the project.

Requirements

• Proven Experience within a similar role as a Project Manager within the BMS or HVAC Industry.
