Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, technical sales or business development.
• Exposure to industrial industries such as mining, water, oil & gas, chemical processing refining, power generation or manufacturing.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and results-driven approach.
• The ability to identify customer needs and develop practical solutions.
• Good organising and forecasting skills.
• A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Availability for occasional interstate travel.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing a portfolio of key customer accounts
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and market growth
• Building strong relationships with key personnel, maintenance teams and decision-makers
• Supporting customers on-site with shutdown planning, product recommendations and problem solving
• Pursuing project opportunities from concept through to award
• Promoting WPC's valve, automation and service solutions
• Maintaining accurate sales forecasts, account plans and customer information
• Working closely with Internal Sales, Service teams and global manufacturing partners to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
