Job summary

Rumbalara Aboriginal Cooperative – Justice and Community Services invites applications for a Full-time role (38 hours/week) in Greater Shepparton, Victoria. The position focuses on delivering culturally safe case management and programs for Aboriginal Youth, with responsibilities including staff supervision, monitoring, and reporting.

The role supports the Yalka, Youth Hub, and Restorative Justice programs, reporting to the Program Manager Youth & Justice.

Qualifications

• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status required.
• Diploma in Community Services, Leadership & Management or equivalent (or willingness to obtain).
• Knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks.
• Advanced understanding of case management and case work.
• Experience in leadership/mentoring.
• Ability to promote cultural safety and trauma-informed practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to deliver culturally safe, responsive youth programs.
• Oversee day-to-day program requirements, staff supervision and development.
• Monitor program compliance and prepare regular reports.
• Support programs such as Yalka, Youth Hub, Restorative Justice, and Youth Trainees.
• Work with the Program Manager Youth & Justice to meet strategic directions.
