Job summary

Institute for Urban Indigenous Health is hiring a Transport Administration Officer to support in the administrative functions of the Transport team. The role helps meet client transport demands and coordinates daily schedules and driver assignments for the next day.

This position requires Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander status as a genuine occupational requirement. The role involves arranging transport types, communicating with drivers, and ensuring timely transport services for our

Qualifications

• Current Criminal History Check.
• Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD).
• Ability to understand transport schedules and assist in the administration of transport appointments in line with client needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain open line of communication with all drivers regarding hours, availability and issues.
• Collect data and provide feedback to assist in the evaluation of Program activities.
• Assist with organising a daily schedule of 'next day' client transports and driver assignments to be distributed by 4.30 pm on the preceding workday.
• Identify transport types (e.g. Respite, Work it Out, Hospital transports, Female Drivers only, baby seat required).
• Advise all non-rostered drivers that are not rostered for that day but will be called if there are late changes.
