Job summary

Indigenous Business Growth in Maroochydore is seeking an Engagement Advisor to manage day-to-day engagement with people affected by the works and help delivery teams reduce community impacts.

The role focuses on stakeholder management for infrastructure projects and requires strong face-to-face engagement and sensitive issue handling. Relocation packages are available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Degree in communications, engagement, social science, planning or a related discipline.
• 4+ years' stakeholder or community engagement experience, preferably on infrastructure projects.
• Strong face-to-face engagement and sensitive issue management.

Responsibilities

• Identify affected stakeholders and prepare engagement plans for disruptive works, possessions and night activities
• Deliver briefings, meetings, door knocks, notifications and follow-up for residents and businesses
• Record enquiries, complaints, commitments and resolutions in the stakeholder system
• Represent stakeholder requirements in planning meetings and elevate risks
• Support incident, outage and changed-condition communications
