Job summary

NSW Ministry of Health seeks a committed professional to lead Aboriginal workforce initiatives and champion Aboriginal workforce programs that influence government strategy. You will partner across NSW Health to collate outcomes data, drive program delivery with stakeholders, and support executive briefs and strategic planning with the Associate Director.

You will contribute to developing NSW Health as an employer that reflects and respects the communities it serves.

Qualifications

Must be Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander; Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification for the role per S14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Ability to work in a small dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver projects that shape and champion Aboriginal workforce programs that drive change and influence government strategy.
Partner teams within the branch and across NSW Ministry of Health to collate and report outcomes data, work to deliver programs and projects with stakeholders across NSW Health’s agencies, contribute to executive briefs and support the Associate Director in planning strategically significant activities.
Contribute to the ongoing development of NSW Health as an employer that genuinely reflects and respects the communities it serves.
