St Monica's College, Cairns, is seeking a School Officer - Indigenous Liaison Officer. This term-time, permanent position is 20 hours per week and based in Cairns.

Responsibilities

• The Indigenous Liaison Officer role is primarily communication and liaison between diocesan schools, Catholic Education Services and local First Nations people, communities and agencies to increase student engagement and outcomes for First Nations students.
• Indigenous Liaison Officers provide knowledge and understanding of First Nations histories, languages and cultures within schools to promote respect and harmony, in collaboration with school staff and the Principal.
