Job summary

Flinders University, Bedford Park Campus, is seeking an Associate Lecturer / Lecturer in Indigenous Knowledges and Culture to deliver teaching on Indigenous health topics and cultural education. The role involves coordinating courses, enhancing student experience and using innovative teaching practices to support Indigenous student success.

Level A requires upcoming teaching in tertiary education with lived Indigenous experience; Level B requires advanced teaching proficiency and a PhD or EdD,

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching and learning outputs related to Indigenous health, cultural safety, primary health care and population health.
• Engagement with Indigenous communities and knowledge systems to support student learning.

Responsibilities

• Create, coordinate and conduct teaching on Indigenous knowledges and culture.
• Contribute to curriculum development and renewal.
• Support Indigenous students and strengthen community engagement.
