Job summary

Queensland Government Wide Bay region is recruiting an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner to deliver clinical primary health care services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, including program delivery, client assessment and treatment under clinical supervision.

This is an experienced practitioner role with a level of independence in following rules and procedures; may include second on-call after hours on a rotational basis.

Qualifications

• Experienced practitioner role delivering clinical primary health care.
• Ability to operate with independence under set rules and procedures.
• May provide second on-call after hours on a rotation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of clinical primary health care services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and communities.
• Assess and treat clients, and contribute to health programs under clinical supervision.
• Provide advice and support to clients while maintaining health care systems.
