Job summary

Wide Bay Hospital & Health Service seeks an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner (Bundaberg) to provide a range of clinical primary health care services within communities, under clinical supervision. The role may involve second on-call after hours rotations and requires independence within established guidelines.

Indigenous eligibility is a genuine occupational requirement under Queensland law. The package includes a salary up to $121,317 p.a.

Qualifications

• Indigenous to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community is a genuine occupational requirement.
• Experience providing clinical primary health care services is desirable.
• Ability to work under clinical supervision and may participate in after-hours on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide range of clinical primary health care services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and communities.
• Deliver health programs, assess and treat clients, maintain health care systems, and provide advice and support.
