Job summary

University of New South Wales – Sydney invites applications for the Associate Dean Indigenous Education and Student Success within the Faculty of Science. The role shapes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education and student outcomes across the faculty, balancing leadership with ongoing teaching and research commitments.

You will lead Indigenous Knowledges integration, collaborate with staff and communities, and support curriculum development, assessment, and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Indigenous identity and community connection to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
• Experience in teaching, curriculum development, or educational leadership.
• Leadership experience in higher education or related sectors.
• Passion for Indigenous Knowledges, student success and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Shape Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education and student success across the Faculty of Science.
• Lead integration of Indigenous Knowledges across the curriculum and engage with staff and communities.
• Balance leadership duties with ongoing teaching and/or research responsibilities.
• Contribute to curriculum development and educational transformation in partnership with senior leadership.
