Job summary

UNSW is seeking an outstanding Indigenous academic leader to join the Faculty of Science as Associate Dean Indigenous Education and Student Success. The role shapes Indigenous education, student outcomes and curriculum, guiding teaching and learning across programs.

You will work to embed Indigenous Knowledges in the curriculum, collaborate with staff and communities, and advance new approaches to engagement, assessment, and success.

Qualifications

• Indigenous identity, cultural knowledge, lived experience and community connection are essential.
• Experience or capability in teaching, curriculum development, educational leadership, or professional practice is valued.
• Leadership experience in higher education or related sectors is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Shape Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education, student success and curriculum across the Faculty of Science.
• Lead representation of Indigenous Knowledges across the Faculty curriculum with colleagues, students and communities.
• Embed Indigenous Knowledges across academic work and contribute to meaningful educational transformation.
