ATSICHS Brisbane seeks a General Practitioner to provide high-quality, culturally safe primary health care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families in Brisbane and Logan.

The role emphasizes prevention, early intervention, and chronic disease management within a holistic, community-driven framework. Permanent full-time position with strong support and development opportunities.

Formación

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree is required.
• Current registration with AHPRA as a Specialist Medical Practitioner.
• Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM preferred.
• Experience working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health or with underserved populations.
• Commitment to culturally safe and trauma-informed care.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history, examinations and diagnostics.
• Develop and implement care plans for chronic conditions.
• Deliver culturally safe care aligned with Aboriginal health values.
• Collaborate with nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, allied health and admin staff.
• Support community outreach and health screening events.
