Job summary

The Finance Family in Melbourne is seeking experienced mortgage brokers to join as independent contractors. You’ll advise clients across residential, investment, construction and self-employed lending using our lender panel and proprietary tools. There is no base salary; income comes from commissions as your pipeline grows.

You’ll need an ABN, PI insurance, your own laptop and phone, and you’ll be supported by weekly coaching and in-office training to accelerate success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in lending if you're coming from a bank, or 2+ years as a broker.
• Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, or ready to get one.
• Curious, capable, clear and coachable.
• Ambitious, and comfortable being measured knowing everyone is focused on helping you achieve the best version of yourself.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients across residential, investment, construction and self-employed lending, using our full lender panel (our brokers settled with 29 different lenders in the 12 months to March)
• Turn booked appointments into long-term client relationships
• Build your own pipeline through referral partners, your niche and your network
• Share what you know with the team, like everyone does at the moment. If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, join a team.
