Job summary

Mai-Wel Group | Supported Living Homes is seeking passionate Support Workers to help people with disabilities live independently in their own homes. You will provide person-centred support, assist with daily living activities, and promote ongoing skill development to improve independence and confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Support Worker or similar role.
• Broad availability across a 24/7 roster including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Current Australian Driver's licence and fully insured vehicle.
• NDIS Worker screening clearance and valid WWCC.
• First Aid & CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support aligned with care plans and participant goals.
• Assist with daily living activities and skill development to promote independence.
• Promote independence and life skills during every shift.
• Create a safe, respectful home environment for participants.
• Follow care plans consistently and confidently for high-quality support.
• Collaborate with leadership to problem-solve and improve services.
• Build respectful relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Work across a 24/7 roster including sleepovers and variable shifts.
• Travel between sites to support different homes as required.
